Magadi - Sri Ranganatha and Sri Someswara Temples

It is believed that Mandavya Maharshi performed tapasya here and installed the Main deity of the Sri Ranganatha Temple.
Mandavya Gudi is now Magadi Town.

Magadi Town was in existence from Chola times. Magadi Town was further developed by Immadi Kempegowda.

Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple is in a locality known as Tirumale near Magadi, built originally by Cholas.

Sri Someswara Temple is on the western edge of Magadi town.
