Vasantapura - Sri Vasantha Vaallabharaya Swamy Temple

A temple situated on a small hillock in Vasantapura, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Rishi Mandavya is believed to have installed the deity here.

Temple is considered to be constructed during Chola period.

On the same plataeu there is a temple dedicated to Lord Bhavani Shankar  - supposed to be constructed by Venkoji, brother of Shivaji or by Shivaji Maharaj himself.
